Habit of Health challenge — week 4

During the third week of the challenge, we asked our athletes to start tracking the calories they burned during the day along with continuing to track their sleep and water. In the fourth week of the challenge, we asked our athletes to start tracking the calories they ate. Like before, we wanted to introduce new concepts slowly so all we asked was that our athletes tracked with an app that estimated the the calories from the food they ate each day. There are a lot of apps out there to help us track our calories but I’m using MyNetDiary.

I don’t typically track what I eat each day so this part will be the most difficult for me. The intention of tracking what we eat reinforces the idea of being mindful of what we put in our bodies even if we don’t have a particular tracking goal or calorie goal set.

Today I drank 32 ounces of water and I slept 6 hours. I got my daily run in and I went to CrossFit. I connected my Garmin watch to GoogleFit so it tells me I burned 2100 calories today and the food and calories I ate are in the image below.
